Program Summary
The program provides students with the knowledge, tools, and methods within ethical, business laws, leadership, cultural and financial fundamentals, development, and management. The program will help students understand the different types of religious organizations as well as how to move within a religious organization. This program is for those who have a heart posture to understand the fullness of religious organization without adapting to a religious mindset, teaching them to see the organization in a new light, looking past the surface and digging deeper into the true principles and biblical standards of Adonai, the master of organization. This course can help students land positions in the field of, journalism (for those with a call of evangelism), writing (those who may have the gift of ministering), and editing (those with a strong passion for teaching). All having the ability to master tasks relating to the development of, government and community policies, business laws, and human resources guidelines.
Program Overview
The religious organization part of your studies is definitively designed to prepare scholars for leadership in the church or discipleship in ministries, and faith-based initiatives; focused on leading change locally and globally. The program merges principles of organizational behavior with biblical standards of leadership, giving students practical management skills and critical leadership abilities. Scholars will gain a foundational understanding of the health and growth of the church. A huge benefit of the program is the important management capabilities that are integrated with Christian leadership principles to help students attain an understanding of biblical teachings on spiritual leadership, ethics, and motivation to accomplish effective teamwork. Upon completion of this program, graduates will possess the skills necessary to bring today’s religious organization leaders up to speed on digital marketing utilized for congregation outreach, messaging, and fellowship. Students will learn how to pursue the full potential of the church as well as serve communities from a business aspect. Trainees will be trained in helping an organization to analytically evaluate the best ways to nurture a ministry while staying real to their business objectives and mission.
Certification
Upon completion of the full program including the concentration and the major for any public-speaking related subjects, students are able to sit on the (5-Fold National Certification Board) Students will be able to sit for the CAP-C Exam. Students who receive a passing score will become 5-Fold Certified Ministry Administration Professional® to become Ministry Administration Certified–CAP-S-1®
Career Field
This is a great achievement for graduates who are diligently seeking a career as a church manager, worship director, missions organization manager, or social services manager.
