Program Summary
Welcome to American History and Government Program. This program teaches history on American events and government with a profound understanding of how history and government coincide. Students will engage in an understanding of historic events such as Native American history, European American history, as well a Mexican American history. This program also offers an understanding of the bill of rights, knowledge of democratic systems, and laws in theories in the United States government.
People have been recording history for thousands of years. Our program will take a deeper look into these recorded events through the scope of America’s history and government to provide clarity on how America became a nation as well as how the laws that govern America came about. Those in professions that require more in-depth knowledge and experience of American history and the American government and its historical people will benefit greatly from taking this program. Individuals who are influenced to join government offices and run for local government would be eager to understand the essence of politics within the American government and this program will defiantly grab their attention.
Program Overview
In this program, students will learn all about American History and Government. Our program prepares our students to gain an understanding of our nation’s history and how our government was created. Students will get to see an in-depth look at those who have written our history as well as those who fought for it and guided it to its current state. In this program, you will learn about who founded America and those who inhabited it before explorers staked claims to it. Students will also learn about the Declaration of Independence, as well as the Civil Rights Movement and Civil War. Students will also learn about the different branches of government and how they are governed. Upon completion of this program, the student will have a profound understanding of America’s vast history and its government. Students will understand why our government structure is so important to us today, as well as why we must know and fully understand the laws that govern it. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to identify the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, who our nation’s founding fathers were, and the great men and women who have paved the way for the rights we now have for the sacrifices they made.
