Diploma Program Admission Requirements

Basic Eligibility

  1. High School Graduation:
    • Applicants must have successfully completed high school education from an accredited institution.
    • The high school should not be recognized as a ‘diploma mill’ (institutions that issue diplomas with little or no academic study and are not recognized by official accrediting bodies).
  2. High School Attestation Form:
    • A completed High School Attestation Form must be submitted, confirming graduation from an accredited high school. This form is a declaration that the applicant has completed high school legitimately and that the institution is not a diploma mill.

Application Materials

  1. Application Form:
    • Complete the university’s official application form, which can be found on the Emet University website.
  2. Application Fee:
    • A non-refundable application fee must be submitted with the application form. The fee amount will be specified on the application form.
  3. Official High School Transcripts:
    • Applicants must submit official transcripts from the high school attended. Transcripts should include a record of courses taken and grades received.
  4. Proof of Identity:
    • A copy of a government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver’s license, to verify the applicant’s identity.

Additional Requirements

  1. Letters of Recommendation:
    • Two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the applicant’s academic ability and character. These can be from teachers, mentors, or employers.
  2. Personal Statement:
    • A personal statement of approximately 500 words discussing the applicant’s educational goals, career aspirations, and reasons for applying to the diploma program at Emet University.
  3. English Proficiency (if applicable):
    • Non-native English speakers are required to demonstrate proficiency in English through standardized tests like TOEFL or IELTS, unless their previous education was conducted in English.

Special Requirements for International Students

  1. Visa Status:
    • International students must provide documentation of their visa status to ensure they are eligible to study in the country where Emet University is located.
  2. Financial Proof:
    • Evidence of financial support to cover tuition and living expenses for at least the first year of study.
