PROGRAM SUMMARY

This program goes up to a Ph.D. level, students entering holding an acceptable master’s degree and completing all the admissions steps required can enter this enter into the P.hD. level of this program including all prerequisites. Graduates holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling can move on to be successful in many leadership roles across several industries. This program equips students wanting to qualify for counseling roles within their local church or community, as the program prepares pastors on how to extend services beyond preaching to establish their own counseling practices as an extension of the church or independently. landing role as a Christian Guidance counselor in Christian universities, colleges, and academies, also working as a professor, school director, and motivational speakers​

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The program also aims to teach students a Biblical approach to family counseling as they counsel them through dealing with economical and financial challenges. Students will acquire an understanding of the strategic biblical concepts to facilitate healing while ​practicing methods that allow room for divine intervention to take place. Scholars will learn that one of the first rules in Christian counseling is to help identify behaviors that are inconsistent with God’s teachings and help them to discover a life that is more accepting of God’s will for their lives.
