Program Summary
The program provides the fundamentals and methods in teaching on a faith-based and biblical foundation. trainees will learn how to implement age-appropriate biblical teachings using methods such as storytelling for scripture delivery. Students will learn the essentials of recreational programs as well as the organization of planning activities in youth ministry. Child abuse awareness and prevention understanding the types of abuse, impacts, and effects that child abuse has on children, families, and communities as well as implementing methods in developing and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. this program is for those who want to become effective leaders, have a love and desire to work with children, enjoy planning recreational activities.
Program Overview
The Youth Ministry program utilizes general methods for planning activities such as recreational programs which are used in the foundation of youth ministry. This program operates through primary biblical principles that create a healthy and safe environment for adolescents. Scholars will establish methods for delivering youth lesson plans which are critical to the implementation of a successful ministry. Students gain an understanding of the theology of young children that enforces the teaching of church history to adolescents. Upon completion of this program, students will attain a profound understanding of how teaching a child from a bible centered perspective affects an adolescent’s thoughts and decisions. Graduates will learn how to direct and lead age-appropriate biblical teaching from a diverse point of view. Scholars will also master youth ministry and the Gospel while using storytelling methods for an exciting and profound delivery of scripture.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this program, students would be eligible to sit for the 5-Fold National Certification Board (5FNCB) 5-Fold Youth Ministry Regional Certification.
